  The question “Will we go to heaven when we die?” is one of the most important questions people ask about life after death. When someone we love dies, we naturally wonder where that person is now. Are they already in heaven? Are they watching over us? Are the dead conscious somewhere? Or does the Bible teach something different? Christian traditions have offered different answers to these questions. It is the foundation of our hope. Paul makes this unmistakably clear in 1 Corinthians 15:9–19. He asks us to consider what would happen if Christ had not been raised from the dead. The answer is sobering. If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is empty, our faith is empty, and our testimony about God is false. Paul even says that we would still be in our sins.
