Worship the Creator—Not the Idea Revelation 14:7 calls us to “fear God and give glory to Him… and worship Him who made heaven and earth.” This is not a vague, distant spirituality—it is a direct call to respond to the God of Creation Himself . The question is simple but searching: How do you respond to Him? Not just with words, but with your life, your priorities, your obedience. Notice the clarity of the verse— “worship Him.” That single word, Him , changes everything. Worship is not about a feeling, a routine, or even a religious setting. It is about a Person. True worship is focused, intentional, and directed toward God Himself—not a version of Him we imagine, and not just the benefits He gives. If your worship loses Him , it loses its meaning. So ask yourself honestly: Is it possible to worship without Him? The answer is no. You can go through motions, sing songs, and say prayers—but without a real focus on God, it becomes empty. Colossians declares that Christ is “before all things” and that “in Him all things consist” (Col. 1:17, NKJV). That is not the language of a created being. That is the language of the Creator. Paul goes even further: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth… All things were created through Him and for Him” (Col. 1:16). He writes that Jesus is “the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created… All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” (NKJV). When Paul calls Jesus “the firstborn,” he is not saying Christ was created. The very next lines make that impossible. If all things were created by Him, then He cannot be part of the created order. In Scripture, “firstborn” often means rank, authority, and inheritance rights. It speaks of supremacy, not origin. Paul is declaring that Christ holds the highest place over all creation because He made it, sustains it, and stands before it in eternity.   "A Vision of the Holy One" Text: Isaiah 6:1–5 & Revelation 4:7–11 Introduction: Throughout Scripture, God occasionally lifts the veil of heaven and gives His servants a glimpse of His glory. Two such moments are found in Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4. Though centuries apart, these visions are strikingly similar—and they reveal a single, overwhelming truth: God is holy, sovereign, and worthy of eternal worship. The Setting: A Throne High and Lifted Up Both visions begin not with the prophet or the apostle—but with God on His throne .
