  "Who Shall Dwell on the Holy Hill?" Text: Psalm 15, Psalm 24, Revelation 14:1–5 Today we meditate on a question that echoes through Scripture like a solemn trumpet: “Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” This is not merely a poetic query—it is the cry of every heart that longs for communion with God. King David poses this question in both Psalm 15 and Psalm 24 , and though the wording varies slightly, the yearning is the same. He asks: “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” (Ps. 15:1) “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?” (Ps. 24:3) These are not inquiries about temporary access to God’s presence; they are about permanent belonging , about standing accepted and secure in God’s dwelling place. Let’s consider the replies. In Psalm 15 , the answer is a portrait of moral integrity: “He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart…” (Ps. 15:...
