  Clothed in Grace: Understanding Christ’s Robe of Righteousness One of the most beautiful pictures in the Bible is the idea of being clothed with Christ’s righteousness. To someone who is new to Christianity—or who has never heard the gospel before—this concept can seem confusing. Yet it is at the very heart of the Christian faith. Imagine standing before a perfectly holy God. Every selfish thought, every wrong action, every failure and regret is fully known. No amount of good deeds could erase our sins or make us worthy of eternal life. The Bible teaches that all people have sinned and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). The good news is that God does not ask us to earn our salvation. Instead, He offers us a gift. Jesus lived the perfect life that we could never live. Dressed for Heaven: Wearing Christ’s Righteousness Every Day One of the most beautiful images in Scripture is the picture of being clothed with the righteousness of Jesus. The Bible teaches that our own righteousness is never enough to make us acceptable before God. No amount of good deeds, religious activity, or personal effort can remove our sin. Yet God offers us something far better—the perfect righteousness of Christ. But what does it mean to be clothed with Jesus' robe of righteousness? It means that we trust completely in what Jesus has done for us rather than in what we can do for ourselves. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus provides the righteousness we lack. When we come to Him in faith, God sees us covered by Christ's perfect character.   The One Thing That Matters Most Scripture: Luke 10:40–42 One of the most familiar stories in Scripture is the account of Martha and Mary. Jesus had entered their home, and both sisters desired to honor Him. Martha busied herself with preparing and serving, while Mary sat quietly at Jesus' feet, listening to His words. As Martha became overwhelmed with her many responsibilities, frustration began to grow. She finally approached Jesus and asked, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?" (Luke 10:40). Martha expected Jesus to correct Mary, but instead He gently corrected Martha. Jesus said, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
