We tend to trust our traditions, defend our beliefs, and protect what feels familiar. But Jesus calls us to something deeper: not just to hold truth, but to be transformed by it. He invites us to seek “gold refined in the fire”—a faith that has been tested, stretched, and purified through real-life trials. This kind of faith isn’t built in comfort; it’s forged when following God costs something. It produces a love that is not shallow or conditional, but steady and enduring. Then He urges us to wear “white garments.” Throughout Scripture, white garments symbolize Christ’s righteousness—His perfect character covering our brokenness.
