As the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant stepped into the river, the waters stood still, allowing the Israelites to cross on dry ground (Joshua 3:14–17). This extraordinary event reminds us that God is sovereign over nature and able to intervene in ways beyond human understanding. But what exactly is a miracle?
