The Sabbath, Circumcision, and the Seal of God Few subjects generate more confusion than the relationship between the Sabbath, circumcision, and the seal of God. Scripture speaks clearly about each—but it does not use these terms interchangeably. If we want biblical truth, we must let the Bible define its own language. The Sabbath: A Sign Between God and His People The Sabbath is explicitly called a sign in Scripture. “Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a **sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you” (Exodus 31:13). “It is a **sign between me and the children of Israel for ever” (Exodus 31:17). Through the prophet Ezekiel, the Lord repeats this: “Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them , that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them” (Ezekiel 20:12).   The Great Tribulation: Mark 13:19 What tribulation is Jesus referring to? Many believe this was the persecution during the Middle Ages and during the early church. Or the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70. Both of those fall short of what the Bible text says. In Mark 13:20, Jesus shifts to times that are clearly not AD 70 nor the Middle Ages. We know that because of verse 22.  Mark 13:22 NIV "For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." This parallels the narrative of Revelation shortly before Jesus comes. There will not be a mass of people turning to Christ and churches as the last days approach. Many people think they will. They think somehow churches, like the Adventist Church, will be a haven for people and they will come running. The Bible makes no such prediction. In fact, just the opposite. People will leave churches. They will turn their backs on God. They will destroy and battle over anything and everything religious that goes against modern thinking. They will call what we believe and how we act, a perversion.  They will not do business with us, and we can't do business with them. The world will take away your Bibles, as they go against the world views. They will be hell-bent (pun intended) on making you go away. You will be banned. Shunned. Buried. Exiled. banished. All traces of what is right in God's sight will vanish from the face of the Earth. Don't be deceived by others who think the church will still be a church in the last days. Impossible. You...

Look at the Adventist church. There is enough Babylon to go around. We think we have the answers. We think we are safe because we, "belong" to the true church. The church of the end. Hardly. And people had better wake up to this. The Adventist church is no better than any other. Oh sure, we toss around phrases like, "more truth," "best there is," closest to perfect," "best doctrines." Complete foolishness. No matter how short a church is, it's still short. Way short. After the William Miller debacle, (and yes it was a major error so where is our truth?), Ellen White and others got together. They thought they were not going to start a new church.
