In Daniel 2, we find a stunning truth: God not only knows the future—He reveals it. This chapter shows us how God used a pagan king’s dream to outline the course of world history and point us to the end of time. The Dream and the Interpretation Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a great statue made of different metals: Head of gold – Babylon Chest and arms of silver – Medo-Persia Belly and thighs of bronze – Greece Legs of iron – Rome Feet of iron and clay – A divided world (our time today) Then a stone cut without hands smashed the statue and became a mountain that filled the whole earth.
